Inspired by the real story of the Venezuelan hero, General Francisco de Miranda, this film shows the passionate life of a highly educated, multi-lingual modern-day spy and Don Juan. He was the most active, global Venezuelan General at that time, having taken part in military operations on four continents and participating in 3 of the most important revolutions of his time: the American, French and South American. Always longing for his big dream, which was the liberation of his country from the Spanish occupation, he is now regarded as the forerunner of Simón Bolívar and other courageous and successful American revolutionaries.

His charm and perseverance made him many important political friends who played a crucial role with his missions, especially his woman friends, among whom the most famous ones are shown in this film: Catherine the Great of Russia, the widow of Mayor Petion of France, Lady Stanhope from America and others.

Directed by Diego Rizquez, featuring the biggest film stars of Venezuela, the renowned screenwriter Leonardo Padrón and the extraordinary composer and conductor Eduardo Marturet conducting the famous Venezuelan Youth Orchestra, this passionate and scandalous film is one of the largest productions ever made in Venezuelan cinematography.
