"Mi Marioneta tiene Tres Caras" (My Puppet has Three Faces) was composed in Cambridge, England, for the composer's sister, Sylvia who then was 6 years old and was beginning to study piano. It was first performed by her in Caracas sometime later in a concert by the Suzuki school where she was a student. This first edition is a faithful copy of the original which plays, as a kind of riddle, with the design of letters on each movement, thus trying to get a stronger link with the young performer and the music. |
